About the Teacher
This is my 14th year teaching in GCISD, the best district in the world! I have taught grades K-3 and am excited to have landed at the ASPIRE Academy with 2nd graders. Teaching gifted students has always been a passion of mine, especially after growing up in the gifted program in GCISD.

I received my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas and my Master's in Gifted Education from Hardin-Simmons University.
I was born in Pennsylvania, but moved to Grapevine, Texas when I was only 3. I've attended GCISD schools through my entire K-12 education, and am so glad to be able to provide that experience for my two children as well.
