Hello My Name Is...
Wendi MacMahon
I began teaching at Glenhope in 2021. I taught in the special services department, but an opportunity opened up in Kindergarten and the timing was perfect! I am a graduate of Lewisville High School (Go Fighting Farmers) and Texas Woman’s University (home of the Pioneers). Before becoming a teacher at Glenhope, I was fortunate to stay home while my children were small. I also love spending time with my family, traveling, and enjoy crafting and organizing!
I love being outside and exploring new places. When not at GHES, you can find me at a softball field or courtside cheering on my kiddos. My husband, Thomas, and I have been married since 2003 and have three children. Our oldest daughter, Bella, is a sophomore at Grapevine High School. Our son, John, is headed to the Pack this year at Cross Timbers Middle School and our baby, Landri, is a Gator in 4th grade at Glenhope.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas Woman's University. My degree is in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on early childhood through fourth grade. Additionally, I have received state certifications in early childhood through fourth grade generalist and Special Education early childhood through twelfth grade.
It is a privilege and honor to have the opportunity to teach your children. Each child is special in their own individual way and I cannot wait to get to know them, motivate and encourage them. Please communicate any needs, comments, or concerns anytime.
