Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Glenhope Elementary 3rd Grade ASPIRE Academy Teacher Lynette Hollinger

I am so excited to begin my 30th year teaching in Grapevine-Colleyville.  I taught fifth grade for 21 years, third grade for 3 years, and this is my sixth year to teach third grade in the ASPIRE Academy.  The ASPIRE Academy blends my love for teaching and learning with my passion for gifted students.

I received both a B.S. and Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Reading from the University of North Texas. I also received an Endorsement in Gifted Education from Hardin Simmons University.

I have lived in this area my entire life and am a very proud fifth generation Texan! I have been married for 28 years and have a son beginning his third year of law school at The University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, and a daughter who is in her fourth year at the University of North Texas majoring in Merchandising. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
