My name is Jennifer McNamara. This is my eighth year in GCISD. I am coming from Bransford Elementary Special Services. I am so excited to be at Glenhope this year working with the Literacy Intervention team. I have been married to my husband, Lee, for 30 years. We have two adult children, Lee Francis and Maggie. I love to travel, watch movies, spend time with my family, watch sporting events, and spend as much time on the tennis courts as possible. Both of our families are in Nebraska and we love to go back home and visit as much as we can.
I graduated with a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of South Dakota. I have had many years of teaching experience and have taught at Grand Prairie ISD, HEB ISD, Holy Trinity Catholic School. I also have an Associates degree in Sign Language Interpretation. I completed my MTA training in October of 2018, and Reading Academy in 2022, and Reading by Design in the summer of 2022.
