I am returning to Glenhope after a twelve year absence. During that time I lived in Ohio where my extended family lives. I came back to Texas to return to my families (children, grandchildren and Glenhope) I am honored and thrilled to received the chance to be be apart of Glenhope Elementary again. My job has changed a little, I left as a General Education Teacher and returned as a Special Education Teacher. Yes, I am qualified in both as I received both degrees from Texas Women's University in Denton. During my first 12 years at Glenhope, I worked on the 3rd and 4th grade teams. I have always had a heart for Special Education so I am looking forward to my new adventure.
Personally, I have three children. Dustin, my oldest is married (Alana) and just about to have twins in September. Jenna gave me my first grandchild (Trinity) who is in high school and Eliana (5th grade). Then there is Ryan who came into our home when he was 15. He is married (Justice) and has 2 children, Xavier (high school) and Madison (middle school). So my family is having the entire school experience!
