Hello My Name Is...
Jill Mitten

I am excited to be a part of the Glenhope family for the first time this year! Although new to the district, I am not new to teaching. This will be my 28th year in the field of education. I have a wide background of experience, both in public and private schools, as a teacher and an administrator.
I am a native Texan. Twenty-three of my career years were spent in the Houston area. The last 4 years I spent teaching in Snyder ISD in west Texas. I have served as a teacher, an assistant principal, a principal, and a director of curriculum and instruction, all at the elementary level.
I have three wonderful children, all of whom are grown. In my free time, I love spending time with family, friends, and my dogs. Crafting and reading are passions of mine, as well as travel and antique/resale shopping!
